Steve Paddock can't be THAT rare of a name. You sure the Paddock on NASA's team is the same Paddock in Vegas?
I don't have the commonest name in the world and when I search FB, several dudes with my name pop-up.

Jack Parsons was also featured on Drunk History as being a crazy (brilliant) wackadoo who was into sex magic and friends with L. Ron Hubbard.

Regarding voices commanding one to kill...
See post that this is tied to and prior posts in this thread on how a mentally unstable person can be created/programmed/nudged...

The Nikolas Cruz confession tapes were released on Wednesday, and they’re far more disturbing than people imagined.
Throughout his interrogation, the admitted Parkland shooter can be seen punching himself in the face several times and pretending to shoot himself in the head — while uttering the words, “just f–king kill me” repeatedly to a surveillance camera.
quote:
“I hear demons,” the 19-year-old told police. “A voice, [a] demon voice.”
quote:
Cruz can be heard telling cops about the “voice” inside his head, which had ordered him to kill his former classmates. He later claimed that the voice gave him instructions to buy three shotguns and three AR-style rifles for his assault, which left 17 people dead and 17 others injured.
“The voice is, is in me,” Cruz explained, pointing to his head. “To me, it’s me and then my bad side … It’s a voice. The voice is in here and then it’s me, it’s just regular me, just trying to be a good person.”
Pretty specific commands...

It saddens me that people have become so jaded that shite like this gets barely a notice or discussion from rank and file Americans.
This shite is happening right under our noses and we seemingly don't care, and if we do we're labeled as kooks.

have you ever heard of mental illness? Maybe you should educate yourself on this subject instead of trying to confirm if JFK jr and 2 pac are hanging out together on the beach in Mars

Agreed. It is unreal that this story has just gotten swept under the rug by the media. I still thinks what makes the most sense is Paddock was undercover CIA in a gun running sale gone way wrong once his cover was blown. The only way the leftist media drops a story like this is if they are told to. Please change my mind. I am all ears.

Sure, every CIA operative involved in gun running purchases the firearms legally at the local Academy and other sporting goods stores using their Visa card providing their own name and address making, then goes to make the deal in a crowded hotel where everyone that works there likely knows who they are instead of the hundreds of square miles of un-inhabited desert that was available within a short drive. Of all the theories cast out gun running has more holes in it than swiss cheese.

By all means, please feel free to explain the events in Las Vegas (since we have definitive conclusions from a persistent press that is seeking answers) and the comments in the mainstream outlets regarding the targeting of persons with mental illness by governmental agencies...

If you were a clandestine service with unlimited funds and no oversight, would it not be perfect cover to control mentally ill targets to carry out missions?
Who would believe them?
There is a case being made that this is the case with Sirhan Sirhan...
Senate document discussing oversight into MKULTRA

Project Mkultra: One of the Most Shocking CIA Programs of All Time
Melissa - TODAYIFOUNDOUT.COM
quote:
One other such “interesting” program, was from 1953 to 1964, when the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) conducted dozens of experiments on the effects of biological and chemical agents on American citizens without their knowledge in Project MKUltra. These covert tests included subjecting the unwitting subjects to hallucinogenic drugs and other chemicals, among other things.
It is difficult to find official documents about this program; however, in 1976 and 1977, the U.S. Senate conducted investigations and even held a joint committee hearing on Project MKUltra, then published much of what was discovered; you will not believe what they found out.
quote:
Officially authorized in 1953, by 1955, project creep had expanded the CIA’s authority under MKUltra to include the following: Discovery of the following materials and methods [including those]:
which will promote the intoxicating affect of alcohol;
which will render the induction of hypnosis easier or otherwise enhance its usefulness;
which will enhance the ability of individuals to withstand privation, torture and coercion during interrogation and so called “brain-washing;”
which will produce amnesia for events preceding and during their use;
[which will produce] shock and confusion over extended periods of time and capable of surreptitious use;
and which will produce physical disablement such as paralysis of the legs, acute anemia, etc.[
quote:
Along with a group of 9 other such scientists, he attended a conference in a cabin at Deep Creek Lake, Maryland in November 1953. Once there, ironically, CIA operatives spiked the researchers’ Cointreau with LSD. Only after the scientists had finished their drinks were they informed that they had been drugged.[8] Most of the researchers handled the experience well and had no aftereffects, but not Dr. Olson. He never recovered from the ordeal and shortly after the experiment, began to show “symptoms of paranoia and schizophrenia.
I know lots about mental health, including that psychedelic use in a susceptible person can tip them into psychosis...
quote:
According to the hearing report, “eighty-six universities or institutions were involved,”[12] and “185 non-government researchers and assistants” worked on these projects.[13] “Physicians, toxicologists, and other specialists in mental [and] narcotics” were lured into MKUltra through the provision of grants that were “made under ostensible research foundation auspices, thereby concealing the CIA’s interest from the specialist’s institution.”[14]
quote:
Not all testing was done unwittingly, although that did not make it any more ethical. For example, in a prison experiment conducted by the National Institute of Mental Health Addiction Research Center at the Lexington Rehabilitation Center (a prison for convicted drug addicts), prisoners who volunteered to participate in a hallucinogenic drug experiment were promised (and received) doses of “the drug of their addiction.”[18]
quote:
The CIA Lost or Destroyed All Records of Project MKUltra
Sadly, but not surprisingly, almost no records remain of the 10 years of covert activity. As Senator Kennedy noted: Perhaps most disturbing of all was the fact that the extent of experimentation on human subjects was unknown. The records of all these activities were destroyed in 1973, at the instruction of then CIA Director Richard Helms.[23]
It also helps when you control the media / public opinion / narrative
The frickery that is now out in the open (deep state arrogance) has always been going on, it is now being called out by more folks...

This is excellent stuff
This may be a good, contemporary starting point for those trying to make sense of the “conspiracies” being promoted from all “sides”
Part of the content discusses overcoming cognitive dissonance and the “conspiracy theory” label...
Thanks again to the poster who recommended it to me (10MTNTiger)

New Podcast Re-Examines RFK Assassination By Radio Ink -
June 5, 20180
quote:
Marc Smerling and Zac Stuart-Pontier, co-creators of the chart-topping Crimetown podcast series and the Emmy and Peabody award-winning The Jinx — The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst have launched The RFK Tapes, a new podcast series that re-examines the murder of presidential candidate Robert Kennedy. According to the police, the media, and most everyone else, the case could hardly have been more open and shut. Decades later, when the police files were finally opened, a more complicated story began to emerge.
quote:
“I’m not one to jump into conspiracies,” said Smerling, “but in today’s world, they seem to be swirling all around us. When Bill started talking about the RFK assassination, Zac and I couldn’t help but recognize temporal similarities. There’s never been a more divided time in America than the late sixties. Except for now.”
quote:
“In the hands of Zac and Marc,” said Chris Corcoran, Chief Content Officer of Cadence 13, “interviews hidden away by the LAPD for nearly 20 years, along with first-hand accounts, weave a breakthrough narrative on a murder case that has been presumed closed for a very long time.”
Spoiler alert:

It would be cool if you could somehow break up everything in your mega thread and spread it out over the entire poliboard.
I don't agree with the turn the thread has taken (with Q and Trump) but there are some very interesting topics in there that I've touched on in 14 years of posting here.

James Holmes was among elite in neuroscience before Aurora theater massacre
quote:
About two months before he sat wild-haired, bug-eyed and dazed as a judge told him he faced murder charges, James Eagan Holmes was supposed to give a presentation on a topic so complex that most people would barely understand its title. Near the same time he would have been discussing “microRNA biomarkers” with doctoral students and faculty, authorities say, Holmes began amassing the cache of guns and ammunition he used to carry out one of the worst mass shootings in U.S. history.
University of Colorado Denver officials won’t say whether he gave that presentation, listed on the syllabus for a class called “biological basis of psychiatric and neurological disorders.” In any case, Holmes was by then already slipping out of the rarefied world of intellect and scientific discovery that for much of his 24 years had seemed embedded in his DNA.
quote:
Every year, 100 or so budding scientists apply to the CU Denver doctoral program in neuroscience. Ultimately, only about six are admitted, said program director Angie Ribera. In 2011, Holmes was one of the six. Then Holmes was chosen for inclusion in a National Institutes of Health grant program designed to train the best and brightest for careers as neuroscience researchers. Each year, Diego Restrepo, co-director of CU Denver’s NeuroScience Center, and a group of faculty select three of the most promising first-year doctoral students and three second-year students to split the grant.

CIA set to move unit to Denver
By THE WASHINGTON POSTPUBLISHED: May 5, 2005 at 5:30 pm | UPDATED: May 8, 2016 at 9:30 am
quote:
Washington – The CIA has plans to relocate the headquarters of its domestic division, which is responsible for operations and recruitment in the United States, from the CIA’s Langley, Va., headquarters to Denver, a move designed to promote innovation, according to U.S. intelligence and law enforcement officials. About $20 million has been tentatively budgeted to relocate employees of the CIA’s National Resources Division, officials said. A U.S. intelligence official said the planned move, confirmed by three other government officials, was being undertaken “for operational reasons.”
