Americans on average are paid more in monthly SS payments and get more in medicare services than they paid in during their working lives....


its why the social security trust fund is set to be insolvent in 2032.

Medicare has been running deficits for years and is the major driver of federal deficit

You people can tell yourselves 24/7 that your ss payments are just money you paid in, but after you get to a certain age, it becomes pure welfare.

90 percent of people on Medicare are over the age of 65, and 35-40 percent of people on Medicaid are children.

Damn kids and old folks need to lift themselves up by the bootstraps!

Heard an interview a while back that the economist said that if this was truly fixed people making less than 250k/year wouldn't have to pay taxes.

Of course that's never wanted so never will be fixed.

This makes it sound like he personally knows about billions of dollars of fraud and is waiting for permission to stop it. Who needs to grant him permission?
