If they go back to the old oil it will be a game changer.
McDonald’s actively participated in the demonization of tallow. They wanted to move away from tallow to a cheaper oil. It was much easier to do when customers “demanded” it.

I'd franchise one around BR if I could. They are so good. Stopped in one in Tallahassee a few months ago. It was pretty run down in there, but still good.

Something about companies tweeting as if it’s a 12 year old irks me endlessly. Every company seems to do it now. I say this as a 30 year old millennial.
Don’t care. They’re using beef tallow and that’s good enough for me

Its what McD's fries used to be fried in before they went to shite and started using seed oils because it is cheaper
They went to seed oils because of all the busybodies screaming "Unhealthy!" at them. It was one way to deflect some of that.
I want real sugared Coke back, and I want beef-tallow McFries back.

the number of new beef tallow and seed oil experts is remarkable

Ha!
Pecan Oil is number #1
The Museum Of Me is a prophetic essay from 20 years ago which accurately asessed the phenomenon of instant expertise.
My personal favorite was the Luigi thread which analyzed his professional vs amateur assassin status.

Is there a logical root for this slang? It seems a lot of current slang is just something someone pulled out of their arse and repeated on social media until it caught on.

Fairly certain cap came from kappa which was the “psych!” of early video game streaming

Love cooking with beef tallow
Me too. Whenever I do a brisket, I make quite a bit from the fat trimmings. Smoke it in there with the brisket for about 3-4 hours, then triple strain it and let it eat on the counter til hardens.
Use it for any beef I cook until it runs out, including on the brisket when I wrap:

Wrong, if you are 30 you were born in 1995.... the Term millennial came about for people who come of age around the millennium... When the early millennials. were "branching away from the norms of GenXers. Then academia took the logical yet wrong approach and tied that gneration to tye standard 20 year cycle. Which is normally ok because not much in the ways of standard life changes in 20 years... except in the 90s something dramatically changed... the Internet.
Therefore someone born in the 80s grew up pre widely available internet and had a very similar childhood as someone born in the 70s or 60s (GenXers). But as they were maturing the internet changed everything... Someone born in the mid 90s can not say this... they have always know about internet and cell phones as just normal life.
Ill say again. Acidema considers you a millenial but you shouldnt be. you ere 4 or 5 still wetting your pants when the millenial happened.

Only matters if the tallow DOES NOT contain BHT and isn’t deodorized.
I’m betting it contains both therefore isn’t much better than seed oils.
