People like you did. This is a fun game. I think you should reply and say "no, people like YOU did!" Let's see how long we can keep this up! (without having to actually prove that either one of us voted in a way that resulted in this man's death)
It’s funny because you have no substantive response. You won’t even touch the asylum issue because you absolutely are one of the people who screeched and “empathized” about them.

Can you quote that sentence in the article that states why his family didn't bail him out?
quote:
Asked why he didn't bail his brother out, Rodney, through Heipt, said: "Price was homeless and in need of mental health help. I thought the jail would at least provide a roof over my brother's head where he would be fed and watched over and where he might get some psychiatric help and treatment. And the family was kept in the dark about what was happening inside the jail. No one would provide answers when I called. And the jail would not allow anyone to visit."
quote:
Releford said she tried several times to see Price in lockup, but she was never told that it would take only $100 to release him. "They could have told me...I would have given up $100 to get him out of there so he didn't pass away like he did."
Bail is a big secret. Impossible to find out. Obviously his relatives cared A GREAT DEAL!!!!

She emotes.
And that’s enough. Because she cares.

Still waiting for her to start a thread on that topic.

I’ve never understood folks that virtue signal on an anonymous message board.
Do you think you are accomplishing anything?
Shouldn’t you actually be out there trying to change the world. You are only typing on the internet. Useless.

No, that is not true.
But the truth is the last thing progfilth like yourself will ever use in a debate.

What do you do with a psychotic inmate who refuses to eat? Do you restrain them and hook them up to TPN?
Bingo!
4chubbies sure makes a lot of assumptions for someone who bitches about others making assumptions. Also, once again she offers zero solutions.
Just what does one do with a threatening mental case that may refuse meds and/or food (may have been too full from being nuts enough to eat his own crap)? Incarceration may indeed be the most humane way but it has limitations obviously.

Jail and prison is society's only answer for the mentally ill now.
Yes, they closed the mental institutions and never replaced them with any thing to help people with mental illnesses.

Yeah I felt a touch of shame running through my veins upon reading that. But redemption flows through and amongst us.
I don’t even know what I just said. A higher power was speaking through me.

Haven’t read the whole thread. Have we been there yet? Did he steal her bike?

If she had just started this thread to discuss the mental health epidemic in this country, I might’ve agreed with her. There definitely is a problem and it needs to be addressed.
But it’s right there in the thread title. She started this thread to whine about her pet peeve: BAIL.

It's funny watching you post a bunch of emotional posts that lack any and all substance in response to a thread I started about egregious abuses by the State that directly caused a citizen's death.
If you have a problem with emotional posts, stop making them. You're just full of shite posting "oh look, she's emotional!" instead of actually discussing the topic of the thread. You're extremely dull and, honestly, a nuisance.

What do we do with the severely retarded? What should we do with mildly retarded (IQ < 75)? What should we do with someone that the military determines to be too stupid for even the most menial of tasks (IQ < 83)? I forgot the actual stat but it’s something like 35% of Americans will have an IQ less than 83 which is basically the minimum to function in our society and not end up in prison.
They either need constant supervision by family or by the guards. Is it more ethical to put them in prison or the asylum forever or to euthanize them similar to a violent pitbull with no owner? Would it be better for God not to make people like this?
