Republicans do not have an absolute majority and passing anything of significance still requires a few Democrat votes... and there is a faction of of the GOP, the GOPe RINOs like Thune and his cabal that are working with Democrats to obstruct the Trump admin and are refusing to pass anything on his agenda the American public voted for.

I replied saying Vance doesn’t have what it takes and that Rubio would absolutely win if he ran. Perhaps I missed something

DeSantis has always looked better for the job than Vance. I like Vance but not as the top dog. DeSantis is who I want when we need someone to be tough on the left, which we absolutely do.
