Suspects were persons of color, waiting on someone to meet them there...........and they had not ordered anything from the menu. But Starbucks store management ordered the cops to remove them. More details, I'm sure, will be forthcoming.

Starbucks is prejudiced against people with disabilities:

Wouldn't surprise me if they're racist too.

It' not clear from the one article I read, but were they asked by the employee to leave and didn't? Were they asked by the police to leave?
What led to them being handcuffed?

Starbucks suck. Places like Starbucks has made the price of coffee go up almost everywhere.

A few of my friends get together almost every Friday morning. Not for breakfast just coffee and talk sports. We go to small local diner and even the price of coffee has almost tripled over the past 8 years.

I think I read somewhere that these guys are stock brokers? They may not be thugs, but they’re wearing a thug’s uniform.

People judge you based on how you dress, how you style your hair, and how you groom. If you insist on dressing like the dysfunctionals, do not be offended when you are treated accordingly.

Also, a coffee shop is not a library. Buy something or GTFO.

it's a diner, and you don't order food....

I assume they were first asked to buy something or leave.

Starbucks is great. On weekdays I'm in and out in 15 minutes. But on weekends I like to just get my quad and sit in the comfy chair for an hour and read books on my kindle.

If a vagrant comes without any intent to purchase they just direct him to the front patio outside. If he starts to pitch a tent out there they threaten to call the cops and he leaves.

I've noticed a steep decline in paper sales. 10 years the early morning delivery was:

4 NYT
6 Wapo
8 USA
12 Shreveport Times

Today it's:

1 NYT
2 Wapo
4 USA
6 Shreveport Times

I'm sure I'd be kicked out of a place of business if I just sat there and didn't order anything. Just people looking for a handout. "But, but, it has to be because of my skin."

I'm not buying it. This was a setup.

How is this ashame? It is private property. If they are not ordering something, then get the frick out.

The problem is average citizens think business are public property.

Can't they just purchase a small coffee and spend the rest of the day sitting at Starbucks using free internet at a table for 4 like the rest of the loser snowflakes already do?

We usually sit in the smoking room and mainly talk football. The high school here has won 14 state championships over the past 29 years.

We talk about baseball some because they have won a few State high school championships, been to the little league World Series a few times, and had a few MLB players.

Football is king in our town.

It is a just sports talk no politics allowed.

Starbuck type coffee places suck. Endless strong black coffee and I do have donuts sometimes

You sit in the smoking section of a diner and talk about high school sports, and don't eat?

Holy shite Missouri sucks
