All I did was ensure they arrived UN-RAPED and in relative good health. They were processed LEGALLY and released LEGALLY and have LEGAL hearings in New Orleans for political asylum based specifically on the fact that since they are political dissidents in Venezuela and family members have been attacked and they have proof, they have no home to return to. I appreciate it man. I really do. I've put the word out on the bills I've incurred but none of my friends have helped, and of course many can't. I'm not sure people are using their common sense here-it's more of a strictly ideological response. People lecturing me on things with the exact language I used on this board 15 years ago about national sovereignty. Completely unaware that I agree that the borders should be secured. Sadly they aren't. With that in mind I will ALWAYS help human beings.

Venezuelans are one of the few groups who could actually qualify for asylum. The vast majority of those coming across the border are here for economic opportunity and do not qualify for asylum.

Ms. Venezuela is a Latina smoke show that would put a Vegas Showgirl to shame. But is a massive head case. Imagine that.

I know that you are not a religious 'fanatic', Pimp; but as I am..."as ye judge so shall ye be judged". That is for the 'benefit' of those who wantonly - and cynically so, IMO - doubt and downvote the altruistic essence or the legalese/moral principle of your OP and the people's choices.

Desperation drives human nature and choices, and if I were those 'drowning' people you've taken in, I'd grab at the first float or lifeguard that was in the water. I suspect we'll all be desperate soon, as "hearts are hardened as iniquity abounds". People restrict their love and the demands therein per value judgment limits. Affluence vs charity.

I've long believed that "but for the Grace of God, there go I", and that if I turn my back and take the 'hard line' on victim scenarios which present themselves in my life, then I'll wake up in my next life not in the paradise of this one but being the victim in said desperation scenarios. I assume that if we are moving forward toward 'character' 'Heaven', then whatever it takes to develop the empathy and compassion which defines a loving character, will be employed toward that task. One can call that Karma, or the Good Lord's Judgment and leadership re "all things happen for the good of them that love God". But as they say, "what goes around comes around".

You put yourself into altruistic question as the subjects of your charity are beautiful women; and we all know how this Board (rightly so, by degree IMO) feels about beautiful women.

I'm very limited re erratic resources as my own circle requires that I sacrifice for those I love, but I'll be glad to chip in a few $ just for principle's sake. Let me know how to get in touch. And tell those people to jump into our National Family to help the honest, loving and hardworking folk that were blessed to have been born in our Free America keep it that way...as we are indeed in "a fight for the soul of our Nation".
