The one and only reason these former liberal lawyers were indicted was an act of revenge by Obamamites because POTUS mentioned their plight on Network TV coverage.

They know it has 0.0 chance of success, but that's not the point to social scumbag justice tripe.

Correct. The message here is not even meant to be directed to THEM (the McCloskeys).

Its very simple, if you come on my property and threaten my family with death or harm, I will worry about grand juries and trials after the fact.

Only prosecutors are allowed to present evidence to grand juries, and they are secret proceedings.

According to judges in Louisville, they are not secret proceedings and the public has a right to know everything that happens in them.

No, it's not. The castle doctrine even extends to your entire property in MO, not just inside your home or vehicle.
But laws don't matter anymore.

Displaying a weapon for the purpose of self defense is not a crime. You don't have to be a Constitutional Scholar to understand this.

The pistol was not functional. It was a movie prop. Meaning they couldn't be charged for that gun. So, the crime lab fixed the gun in order to charge them. I guess they just went with tampering lol. Honk Honk.

and nevermind the fact that these types of angry mobs had been responsible for a retired police officer being shot and killed in that very city just days prior, had been burning buildings, etc. But, yeah, this DA never had any intention of thinking maybe these people had justifiable reasons to fear for their lives.

It looks to me that the Dems of the St. Louis are conspiring to violate the civil rights of the McCloskeys.

That's a federal crime.

every gun should be assumed ready to fire if it's displayed in anger. how would the protesters there that day know that it was inoperable if it was?

Missouri RS 571:030 Someone didn’t read the whole statute

The poster asked how that could be a crime and I provided the explanation. I didn’t say I agreed with that being a crime (I don’t) but I answered their question. The poster didn’t ask what defense they could possibly use or what the entire statute said.

Triggered bunch of snowflakes in here.

The grand jury was convened for one reason: this likely prohibits any ability of the McCloskey's to sue Kim Gardner for malicious prosecution.
