Yesterday and she said her students are struggling to read on a 1st grade level and their social skills are non-existent. She doesn't see how most of them pass their test to move on to the next grade.
We are going to be so fricked in future generations with the Dems in charge.

That's exactly what they intended. You've got a completely abused and ruined generation that will be completely dependent on big government.

It is a consistent story about the current 3rd grade. Some are a little better but they are all struggling regardless of school.
Starting their educational journey online with Covid BS is at fault.

we are screwed but what level they read on is irrelevant

Soon we will realize 13th grade is now necessary. Thank Democrats!

Is this the case? My kids (12 and under) barely know COVID is a thing minus a few months of virtual schooling.

That’s what they want. A dumbed down society that’s dependent on government handouts

My daughter was in homeschool for 1 week fall of 2020. I went in her room and she had the volume off to her class eating popcorn looking at her ipad. We put her back in regular school the following week. Thank god it was an option in Florida.

Pass 'em and unload to the next level. Not their problem.

Probably due to the covid shutdown and online learning.

They don't need to read as long as they attack whitey.

You are correct.
The problem is the fact that there are a whole lot of "parents" that aren't smart at all. In fact they are fricking morons. Unfortunately they are the ones who produce more offspring than the smart ones since they get paid to do so, and the smart ones only have children they intend to actually raise to be productive members of society.
So yes, we are fricked.

The consequences of Covid shutdowns will be felt for years to come.

You can thank those hand toys for that.
