I've read his remarks, which is why I'm asking you specifically what he said that you take issue with

Irrelevant.
Honestly, I'm stunned at how few people understand why the UCMJ says what it says on this subject and why it is so important that this kind of shite be punished swiftly................if directed at Liberal leaders also!

Maybe she was trying to point out that the issues JD spoke of weren’t part of her command?
Wasn't her place to attempt to clarify Admin47's position.
As another poster pointed out, she took a whole arse weekend to think, reflect, craft her missive and decide to publish it... she's either subversive or a really stupendous idiot.
Either way, not fit for command.

I agreed with every word that officer said................and, removing him was STILL the correct action.

I assume it was calculated for her own ends. But maybe she just truly believes in what she said and wanted to sacrifice her career for her beliefs. Regardless it was the wrong way to do it. She should have resigned in protest.

You're correct. If this is how she wanted to go down, great. But, she should have resigned first. Either way though. What I do NOT want to see from here is bitching about the result.
She KNEW the result that was coming and if she didn't, that's probably worse.

If that's the case, she should never have joined much less assumed command.

And there it is folks, what the administration says about Greenland is irrelevant, but it's what Moonbase Alpha commander says that is important.
That's why my fist post ITT referred to Bizzaro World. You can't make this shite up.

I honestly do not remember a senior officer who did something like that during the Clinton administration. But I agree with the removal from command or senior administrative position anyone who openly criticizes administration policy. I was trained as a young officer (commissioned in 1991) to be unambiguously apolitical in my positions. That training served me well during my career.
During the Obama administration there were many policies that I privately disagreed with. But I fully and faithfully implemented them. In one instance I had to present these policies to a very large audience. I simply stated the facts and fielded questions. You could not have discerned what my position was by how I managed this very controversial issue. I went full Joe Friday.
“Just the facts, ma’am.”

Here ya go..............guess I was incorrect about the Europe part but this is it
In a terse, five-paragraph memorandum, the Air Force said that Maj. Gen. Harold N. Campbell had “violated (military law) by uttering disparaging remarks about the President” and would be severely reprimanded, docked almost $7,000 in pay and forced to retire July 1.

There is absolutely no reason to "call out Vance".
Call him out for what, telling the truth? It is not his fault if people get upset by the truth.
