Many of them tried to stop it because it dilutes other red districts and puts them at risk in blue wave years

Right, only the people suspect about everything else are concerned, seems like a coincidence

God forbid they have to figure out a way to work with constituents that don’t agree with them to stay in office.

Blue hairs here are livid. This will be a tough year if Republicans dont get out to vote.

SC native here and the population has unquestionably gotten bluer in recent years (though not at the same level as NC or GA). Mostly due to the overflow of northern/Cali transplants pouring into places like Greenville/Spartanburg, Charleston, and the Myrtle Beach area. Rural SC is still very red though.

This is peak irony from any person supporting partisan gerrymandering.

I think Myrtle has gotten more red but Charleston is limousine liberal town, and Greenville has definitely gotten more blue

A lot of cancer from Charlotte coming down into Rock Hill as well.

Greenville-Spartanburg is also under assault.

Like many States, SC needs 2 new Senators.

That's true but, the two or three worst RINO senate offenders are in serious trouble anyway because they know this will add eight or nine more red seats to the House in state elections which will lead to a closed primary vote in the next two or three sessions which will make them lose their democrat crossover votes which, when they are primaried in the next election will cause them to lose to a Republican challnger which is the true reason they are worried.

Not because those districts will turn red, but because the RINOs will be primaried out.

Either way, Tuesday's vote is a formality ... either they get with the program or they'll be history.

It'll be on Henry's desk Wednesday morning.

F'k Clyburn, he's a racist POS. He can move to NYC or SF.

The low IQ representatives from the those districts will be missed.
