Watched this movie last week while traveling for work in Spokane WA. Went to the 6:20 showing and online for reserved seats all but 2 seats and the very first row were sold out or not available. Once the movie started the theater may have been at 40% occupancy.
Something is up. Either they sold the seats and no one showed. Or they want them to show sold so no one can go.
I went to the pay it forward website and received two free assigned tickets. I didn't show up for the movie.

Have you ever in your life been to any movie that was cancelled?
Matrix Revolutions. At some point the movie switched to playing from the end but in reverse. They didn’t have time to fix it and finish our showing before the next so I had to go back later.
More recently, I saw Tenet in IMAX and the screen was tinted yellow until I complained for them to fix it. Avatar 2 shut off and we had to wait 45 mins and rewatch 20 mins. Countless times the lights don’t shut off. This isn’t some grand conspiracy. This is a how an industry in the throes of bankruptcy operates.

Wouldn’t it make more sense to just not release the movie
may have already been said...Disney shelved it for five years. Angel Films, an independent studio, bought the distribution rights and released it.

Ah. So you’re just a dick.

You missed the part about sold out.
Yeah, I'm sure they really wanted to give that speech to an entire theater full of people rather than the few that were there.
If they were offering a ticket transfer to another timeslot, where does the paranoia of "they don't want us to see this" come from?
The only gripe I could think of would be the snacks they bought. I think they should also get a voucher for whatever they bought to be at cost next show they attend. I mean sure, they get to eat the food they paid for, but who goes to a movie theater to buy expensive arse popcorn just to leave. They bought it for a movie, then didn't get the movie at that time.

In the hundreds of movies I have seen in the theaters over the last 40 years, exactly ZERO have been cancelled.
In short, I don’t believe you.

It’s not confirmation bias so I wasn’t expecting you to.

Anecdotes only work one way.

Why is it that you seem to appear in any thread that has to do with the abuse of a child? More importantly, seemingly on the wrong moral side.
It's disturbing.

One movie…okay
Two…unlikely, but okay.
Three…bullshite.
Lights not working…pure comedy.
In short, your deflection (lie) didn’t work.

State yours.
Have you had lights malfunction “countless” times?

Then why does their website read SOLD OUT and there are only 4 people in the theater that they just canceled the show on
Posted on 7/18/23 at 11:04 am to FLTech
I have been to see hundreds of movies and have never had a movie canceled or the dimmers not work. In fact, I have never had anything happen even close to what is occurring with frequency for the screening of this movie. I guess its just "coincidence" though.

Imagine going to the theater, interacting with the employees, and thinking “yeah, these guys can orchestrate a nationwide conspiracy”
“Hey all you guys who make less than $10 an hour and will be replaced in two weeks, my insanely rich pedo friends and I were wondering if you’d help us prevent random people from seeing this movie? No not everyone, or even most people. Just occasionally, mess something up so that the movie can’t be seen but the interaction can be filmed and posted on the internet. Why yes , I am very good at running a conspiracy. Thank you for the compliment! Why are you laughing?”
