I agree but the elite rich(Blackrock, Vanguard) own or has shares alot of entertainment venues. Probably some that circulate the movies played in cinemas and can influence them. Certainly not all but the corporately owned ones I bet they can.

Most of the op links weren't even cancelations. They were run of the mill issues like the lights didn't dim on time, or the sound was low or gasp... a wierd smell. And yes I've had movies get cancelled due to technical issues. And those time s along with the folks in clips was offered a free ticket to a later showing.

You really don't see any other possible and more reasonable explanation for this other than this being intentional do you? Because you could post 100 examples of social media posts of complaints and it would still be insignificant and not lend credibility to this being intentional

These theaters are dying and I'm pretty sure they get a bigger cut of these tickets than a big budget release.
It makes NO logical sense they'd be shutting down theaters.

Plenty of seats available in movie theaters in the New Orleans area. Doesn't seem to be an issue at AMC theaters either

There are other reports of AMC theaters claiming the AC is out (but only in the rooms showing SOF), tickets being refunded just before show time etc.

All I can report is that my wife and I went to a showing in an AMC theatre yesterday and after sitting through what seemed like an endless torrent of commercials and a few previews (truly, 20 plus minutes -after the listed start time), the movie finally started but the auditorium lights didn’t dim!
I got up and walked the long walk to the office and said, ‘hey’.
After the long walk back and when I was resettling into my seat, the lights finally dimmed.
Did make me wonder a little…
