It started with masks and moved onto vaccines.
That's why the presumption of the safe and effective vaccine is always left out. It makes the cost almost 0 (like masks).

You're using a lot of hindsight bias and ignoring the fact that we're discussing a thought experiment that made certain assumptions.
Clearly, if you proposed a thought experiment with an unsafe, ineffective vaccine, the analysis would be different. That wasn't the discussion 3 years ago (or whenever that thread was made).

The assumptions (that you still appear to consider sound) were incorrect. And people like you were using your perceived moral high ground to judge down at others.
The very REASON that many on this board skipped the vaccine is because we had just been gaslit about Russian collusion and most secure election from the very same people forcing the vax on us. We saw patterns that you didn't see. I bet you still believe the experts on man made climate change, for example. I think that kind of makes you a head in the clouds blowhard, because their gameplan / pattern is now so obvious that it should be impossible not to see.
Sometimes the smartest people miss things that normal people see. A good lesson for anybody open to receiving it.

But many people never assumed the vax was safe and effective bc there wasn’t enough data to prove that true before it was forced on people. For those people, it was foresight, not hindsight.

I will never understand how people were willing to not only allow themselves to be injected with a rushed, unproven vax that had zero data on long term impacts but also allowed their children to receive that injection.

A lot of folks were hesitant to get the vaccine for pretty obvious reasons. I never considered the Russian collusion story or election integrity to be one of those reasons. How are you connecting those dots?
Other than the government authorities often dont tell the public the whole truth...which has been going on since the dawn of civilization.

If people are making sensational claims, it's fair to ask for details. If their response to you asking for details is to not provide details and tell you to "do your own research" you can be certain what type of person you're working with.
