The younger generations just don’t understand it because you’ve never lived through a real war. The older groups, those vets, people who have served in live areas and hard core US values types that understand what this country is realize what doing this would mean. It’s not specifically about Trump, it’s about the new Dem party which is actually a fascist/communist party. Maybe younger people think we can live under that type of government but anyone who has any real education knows that it’s not possible. Better to attempt an overthrow now while we have our legs than to let them gain more and more control. One thing we know about Dems is projection is a main focus of their mindset so when they say “Trump will put people into camps and eliminate his enemies” we know that if they gain enough power that’s exactly what they’ll do and with the surveillance at their disposal now days they’ll be coming for anyone who’s ever said a negative word about them.

I would expect if this played out (which I don't think will happen because Trump isn't getting removed), there would be mass resignations and defections from the current military command and control structure to the independence fighters. The violence will be against the ranking leftists in power - Pelosi, Schiff, etc. and their loud mouth supporters.

You will because you won't have a choice. Violence begets violence. And, you and your family will be threatened. You are going to need to pick a side (Honestly, you already have. If I'm right that this is citizen to citizen, I'm sure there are a lot of people who already know your political stance.)
There are too many people who are unwilling to let their freedom be stolen away from them. That's what a Trump impeachment would be. They are willing to protect that and protect the future for their children. And, once the violence starts, I don't think anyone will be able to avoid it.
Violence is definitely a possibility in our future. I think impeaching Trump would probably be the tipping point. All of the radical left would be emboldened and the Antifas of the world would probably be on the forefront of the violence.
As to your question about what people will do personally, I don't think you'll get honest answers from anyone for obvious reasons. None of us will get the benefit of having people declare their intentions. It's going to be ugly.

This sounds dire but it will never happen. The democrats can't impeach everyone to work their way into office. And Nancy is a very senior citizen. She really would not be up to the task.
If there was a likelihood the Senate was going to vote to remove Trump, he would be forced to resign. Whereupon Pence would select the new Vice President. If Pence was impeached and removed, the VP would take over. Pelosi ain't gonna get there.
