Ask Kid Rock, he loved it.

Keenan was joking. At the time, I actually told my wife that someone on TD would think he was seriously referring to a message that only black people can understand. Sadly, I was correct.
Keenan didn't invent the idea that Kendrick's performance had a hidden message for black people.

It’s a comedy sketch show. Are you sure he was serious?

Read “weird scenes inside the canyon” if you think rock music wasn’t a psyop. The bedrock of the hippie movement of the 60s and 70s is very strange.

It’s a halftime musical act for the Super Bowl.
Leave the inside messages for black people for another time.
Signed,

He was rapping about racial inequality and blaming Trump for slave reparations and not getting their land 175 years ago. So brave

Ok, I just read through this entire thread, and the only thing to take from it is that this fricking board is old and generally pissed off.
Conservatism in this country is the new Nation of Islam. Everything and everyone is attacking us and out to get us. We're aggrieved victims. It's pathetic.
What you saw was a glimpse into current pop culture. No it wasn't for you. Pop culture is never for middle aged white men, no matter if it’s 1995 or 2025. You all sound like your Dads, it's a little sad actually.

Even if so why would you only want the halftime show to make sense to 13% of the population?

Nah man, even my kids and their friends thought it was arse. It wasn’t entertaining.

Calm down, Robert Byrd. Next thing you know you’ll be comparing black children at a pool to roaches.

Correct. I suffered through a portion of the show and it sucked for the most part...not funny.
Adam Sandler's little diddy was the best part as it honored those in the past through present day. And it was funny.
Turned it off after that...knew it wouldn't be any better.

Lack of diversity is cool if it's a field full of non-white people

I took the halftime show to be about America being built on the back of blacks. If not, why have black uncle sam saying crazy shite?
