Somebody explain to me why this guy was arrested?

Living off the grid. Not bothering anyone. Not in trouble with the law. And his "arsenal"? Just sounds to me like someone who wanted to be left alone. LINK

Arrested for "owning a shotgun". Previously had a summons for riding a bike with 8 German Shepards running along. And people still act like this is a free country.

Well he was also technically squatting on land owned by a local college, and firing off shotguns for whatever reason.

It's okay to squat on public land in California, Oregon, Washington. It's ok to $hit on the sidewalk, shoot up with heroin and meth on the sidewalk, accost pedestrians, block traffic, but this guy was a danger to society and got arrested?

We all know why he was arrested, pictures taken, and publicized thus, and it has exactly nothing to do with firing a gun. You see, he doesn't have facebook profile, twitter account, doesn't care about pumpkin spice....obviously dangerous. (See "unorthodoxy" vis-a-vis Orwell)

The difference in my Turkey gun with a XX choke and his illegal shotgun is slightly more 1/2 inch (assuming he is close to 18 inches. A sawed off shotgun has no choke so it's a scatter shooter. My XX holds a 20 inch pattern at 30 yards.

All the deer camps I've ever been to are better "equipped" than this guy's "arsenal". Maybe he did shoot at officers or squatted on private property. However, to call that an arsenal is laughable.
