The curve has started to flatten and hospitals AREN'T getting overwhelmed.
This is an interactive site and you can click on deaths or cases to see the latest numbers. LINK
Cannot copy the graphs with the interactive page but maybe someone else can do it.
They also have information on demographics...no real surprises.About 87% are 60+

And that's one of the first places to get hit. Really good news

So what would happen if in a few weeks WA comes out from "shelter in place" after the curve is completely flattened?

The virus could ramp up again.
Or it might not.
Or it might not.

Sounds like it's time to get back to work, then.

Hopefully this trend continues, and we can finally have spring football.

Who knows but I think the "shelter in place" should be extended to the most vulnerable and we're also coming into the Summer months which should also help out when the order is lifted.
Cases would probably increase but they can be managed much better if those getting infected aren't high risk groups
We'll also should have access to
more tests as we get further into this.Gonna be able to isolate and quarintine new cases more efficiently.

Damn, were we hoodwinked by the media about the severity of the virus in this state? They all had us believing that Washington was just devastated and totally wrecked. According to the death map that is far from the truth. Instead of me proving my point just clink on that link in the OP. Two counties that abut each other have 165 deaths out of the 195 reported, as of two days ago. Imo, it looks to me Wash. had it pretty mild considering their 7.8 population.

I don’t want to point out that the king has no clothes, but the death curve on that website is not flattening at all. I hope the interpretations are correct for the other info (fewer positives and total cases) but that could just be pending positive or not reported yet.
Overall it does look hopeful though!

Agreed but the high number of deaths are still in those two counties, not statewide. That's the point I was making - the media had us believing the whole state was being devastated with deaths. They're not.

pretty sure this is what they said it was like:

I can't say for sure but I have suspicions. It's obvious the democrats and media haven't seen anything about this virus that truly scares them. It's human nature for someone who has been shaken by something to have a change in demeanor and I don't see that at all from them, it's been the same partisan politics as usual.
I think they know this virus is not the danger it's been hyped to be and are simply trying to take advantage of it as much as they can. I can't prove that but it's obvious there is some chicanery going on.

From the site you linked the weirdest chart was deaths by sex.
51% Female
45% Male
4% Other

Yes it is.
Overall cases aren't but deaths certainly are.Look at it again and make sure you click on deaths.

Our dimwitted, failure of a governor is saying that we have to stay at home until the virus is "eradicated", which isn't how any of this works. Hopefully he's just ignorant.

A lot of people will/have recovered. Far less will get sick if it comes back.

The Washington state Chorale group is now said to have had a (still unidentified) superspreader.
LINK
A Chorale of 121 folks; sixty got together, no touching, each brought their own music, thirty days later of the sixty, forty five were sick with corona like symptoms. Of the 28 tested for Corona, ALL were positive, the others didn't get tested because they didn't feel it necessary or couldn't get tests. Of the 28, eleven were hospitalized, and two of the more elderly ( 80 somethings) died of the virus.
One presumed superspreader did that. And nobody noticed anyone coughing or sneezing or even feeling a bit bad.
Interesting group study in retrospect.

After reading the link, those people are beyond stupid. Everyone of them, from the look of the pics, are high risk candidates for the virus. It's kind of hard to have sympathy for stupidity.
