There may also be a video of the First Man Shot arguing with the shooter just before Video 1 happens. I haven't seen this one, just read about it, but it could give context for how this whole thing started.

It does not . He did try to fight the whole militia. But before the shooting you see the kid running away from midget man while midget man launches something at him as the shooter retreats. The midget man then gets about 2 feet from the shooter and he take a round in the dome.

So rumor is that this dude is 17 years old. May get convicted for unlawful possession of a weapon, but should skate on the homicides due to clearly fleeing from aggressors before using deadly force.

Wisconsin is an open carry state. This means that gun owners can carry a loaded gun in public. Gun owners do not need a permit or license to carry a gun in public. A person is considered to be “openly carrying” a gun when a casual observer can see the weapon.

939.48 Self-defense and defense of others.
(1) A person is privileged to threaten or intentionally use force against another for the purpose of preventing or terminating what the person reasonably believes to be an unlawful interference with his or her person by such other person. The actor may intentionally use only such force or threat thereof as the actor reasonably believes is necessary to prevent or terminate the interference. The actor may not intentionally use force which is intended or likely to cause death or great bodily harm unless the actor reasonably believes that such force is necessary to prevent imminent death or great bodily harm to himself or herself.

This isn't going to matter if he's an unaccompanied 17 year old minor. Hope he's 18.

Wisconsin doesn't have a permit system in place. At 18 you can purchase a long gun, and at 21 you can purchase a handgun and/or get a concealed carry license. * Note that these are purchase age not possession age.

A little more cut and paste research:

Open carry is legal for any person that is 18 years or older and not prohibited from possessing a firearm under state and federal laws.

At worst he'll get an unlawful carry charge, if they even bother with it.

It might be prudent if the local authorities leave this kid alone and not try and prosecute and or persecute him.....

I believe this incident may be the Shot Heard Round the World Pt 2

Oh I know they will be chomping at the bit to do it, but the political fallout may not be worth it.

If that kid is charged it's going to look very, very bad for that administration. The whole world got to see what happened, from multiple angles.

Charge is just to scare other people from going out there with guns to defend themselves.

There is zero fricking chance a murder one charge even goes to trial with that video

I don’t think this was the DA’s best move.

Besides becoming a cause celebrity for the right, this is going to highlight the state of what is going on in Kenosha and how the police were unwilling or unable to do anything about it. (My money is on the latter due to political pressure)

This has the makings of a SCOTUS case on gun rights and self defense given that SCOTUS has held that cops are NOT required to respond to calls and he clearly would have been killed had he not fired.

They might as well have charged him with auto theft or rape. Because that’s how baseless murder 1 is.

Did the streamable site just remove all of the videos linked? They were there 10 minutes ago and now they all show up as "removed for violating terms of service".

What if he "self identifies" as a 30 y/o?

Not surprised. This shite will be erased from every available media source.
