For over a year now when watching MSNBC I was told Trump will be impeached any minute and MASSIVE collusion, etc.
When I watched Fox, Comey, Hilary, etc. we’re all going to prison, Deep State this and that.
Yet none of it is true. Our press can’t suck enough. I don’t trust any of them. The oddest thing of all is why they still teach journalism in college. For what? It’s like teaching a course in how to effectively run the Pony Express! Neither exist anymore!
So now where do I go to find out what’s really going on?
The Onion and Weekly World News are far more accurate.

I think you have to hunt down specific reporters and tv anchors...

watch Bret Baier if you want straight news
Watch Tucker if you want what’s really going on in this country

Read Mollie Hemingway, Chuck Ross, Andy McCarthy, Byron York, Kim Strassel, Catherine Heridge for news.

Follow Saegar, Major Garret, John Karl, Chad Pergram, Mark Knoller, Jonathan Swan, and David Martosko for White House news.

Listen to Hugh Hewitt’s radio show (he has great guests on),
Listen to these podcasts: Ben Shapiro, Dave Rubin, Econtalk, The Editors (National Review), and I really like Newt’s podcast even though it’s not that political

Glad you asked...

Any journalistic news is just propaganda or part of the "circus" you are fed. The Left uses mass media to string you along, the Right uses an imaginary entity named after a letter of the alphabet or smooth talkin politicians to string their side along.

Overall, your Rulers keep you inline with false hope that something will be done to one side or the other, to pacify your desire to see justice against all the wrongs committed against you. All the while, you keep paying your taxes and obeying over 500,000 rules, regulations, policies, ordinances, and other man-made rules. You're willingly lining the pockets of corrupt predators and if you step out of line... there's a for-profit commercial prison system to "rehabilitate" you into being a proper Subject again.

The Matrix [your so-called clean water, food, medicine, h(w)ealthcare, entertainment, etc.] has turned this entire American culture into pacifist. Our Founding Fathers and Spiritual Father are severely disappointed in all of us. We've allowed a Great Nation to fall into a cesspool of evilness.

I come to the PoliBoard every morning first to get a take on the news. It's a largely conservative forum but there are opinions from both sides. From here I know where I'm going to go to expand on the topics posted. I get very little news from any of the cable or network sources. Go to Lucianne.com or Drudge to start your way into the news. I'm a conservative and I can hardly watch Fox News anymore. There is just too much turmoil, conflict, hyperbole and crap on the cable networks.

By the way, I kept up with 2016 election results on the PoliBoard. It was pretty exciting.

Drudge aggregates the news. You can go to the Huffington Post, Washington Post, New York Times, National Review, Daily Caller and Washington Times from his site. You can get a link to David Corn, David Brooks, Ann Coulter, Pat Buchanan or Paul Krugman from his single web page. It has a link for anyone of any political persuasion. I've used the site for 25 plus years. He doesn't report on the site, he just provides the links.

do you want someone to come hold your hand? the greatest abuse of power in my lifetime was committed by Obama/HRC; it is a matter of whether/whom/what/where/when go to jail or not; but there is a deep state, the political espionage is real.

Do you think anyone will ever do anything about it though? To answer your whether, I suspect nothing will be done. If there is no vigorous investigation into it now, there is not enough time to peel back the layers before the next election. And if Trump does not win in 2020, then we certainly will never know.

From what little I've seen, MSNBC has pretty much decided to double down on muh Russians so you'll have at least five more years of viewing bliss.

Ignore it. Resign from having news interpreted for you. Don't read articles on any site about how Trump is wiping out protected lands in Alaska, go read the actual order and start asking questions that journalists don't.

For instance, the bullsh1t about the electoral college... All the dems mention they "need to have a conversation" or "need to go to a popular vote." All that is inflaming in it's stupidity, but they'd have to amend the Constitution to do it. Never going to happen, but useless red meat for libs. No use in being worried, not going to happen. Otherwise they would have used the same method to repeal the 2nd amendment.

Start reading Bastiat, Adam Smith, Lafayette, and other classical authors. Stop being pushed around by "current events" and develop a philosophy grounded in history and actual rational thought. Hell, read Marx and think about how/why/if it could work (it won't, unless you murder millions of people, and even then, oh wait, it doesn't work.) Classics. Classics. Classics. Current events are mostly entertainment the way they're presented.

Try NewsMax, or the Mark Levin Show. There's always Rush Limbaugh and Hannity. Some other conservative thought outlets. Michael Berry comes to mind. Berry seems to be surging on the national radio talk scene. Although seems to me he gyrates back and forth on issues. He plays the reckneck routine but I donno.....seems to me he's trying to create a niche for himself in the middle.

As far as FoxNews is concerned the new owners have essentially surrendered to this "fair and balanced" baloney. Tucker seems to be the last real conservative voice there along with Judge Jeannie Pirro. FoxNews lost me when they announced they hired Donna Brazile as a political contributor. FoxNews Owners are shooting themselves in the foot. They're about to destroy are real source of Cha-ching Cha-ching!

As you were!

Uhm... what?

We have absolute proof (via the Strzok/Page texts and testimony) that Hillary was purposely handled lightly by the upper levels of the FBI and terminology in the final report was changed so as to not be chargeable because they thought she was going to be the next President.

We have absolute proof that some of that same FBI leadership specifically handled information in such a way to gain a FISA warrant to spy on the Trump campaign when they knew:

1. They had not had time to verify it
2. The primary person providing it was biased against Trump
3. The opposing political party was funding that information
4. If the full details of the information and supporting materials were known to the FISA court, the request for spying would have been shot down

Let me tl;dr it a bit... Members at the highest levels of the FBI worked to take down a Presidential candidate and then tried to hide that (and are still trying to) in the aftermath of that candidate being elected. The continuance can be classified as nothing less than an attempted coup.

The leadership of an intelligence/enforcement agency essentially working on behalf of one Presidential candidate against another and then continuing after that other candidate wins in an attempt at a coup is the very definition of "Deep State".
