He said it was to much for his wife. Stress or something along those lines.
He didn't like the job. That is known. Mostly likely reason, but it isn't why he said he was leaving.
Also speculation that there were disagreements with the Epstein files. Apparently he wanted to handle it differently. May not be the main cause. Many will speculate that it is the main cause. If nothing else this probably pushed him to the decision a bit quicker.

I remember him complaining on Fox News in May about having to work in an office every day and missing his wife. A crybaby who can't last a year in an average federal worker's shoes.

He realized he couldn’t just run his mouth and had to do actual work.
Yeah because he’s never had to do a real job. That’s right.

This is probably directionally true.
Bongino is a frontline soldier. Being an administrator is probably a miserable existence for him.

News stories and realtor.com said he sold his Stuart Fla. area-home to move to DC. Is he living in the DC military housing with others?

The reasons he is leaving, if I had to make a short list:
1) they have been successful in an early attempt at restructuring the FBI.
2) The russiagate investigations are in good shape, as we have read about the January indictments coming out of Florida. Hopefully.
Lmao if you believe this

I think it so he can go back to his media show and spill the beans on what he saw while within the system. I think Trump knows he's more valuable doing the Rah-Rah drumming up votes for next years midterm than being Patel's second hand.

With the wife? That can’t be fun for her. Sounds like he was going there for the short term only. But why sell the house?
Not everyone is suited for living & working in the DC sewer.

Wonder if it had to do with this botched brown shooter investigation. Someone had to tell trump they had the shooter in custody

Perhaps he can do more good on the outside on his radio program.

Bongino will no longer be guessing re just why the FBI has been so corrupt and whether or why said corruption still exists. It may well be that he was under constraints while in office that won’t be there if he leaves. Names, specifics re actions, possible motives (blackmail, personal threats like Schumer’s “six ways to Sunday “ crap, or the Epstein/Mossad connection, etc.) should all be dumped into the public domain. The question is whether Dan can hide behind muh national security or some supposed law or regulation which prevents him from going Whistleblower.
Dan is going to find out pretty quick that things have changed as he’ll have questions to answer and choices to make. I give him the benefit of any doubt as a true patriot but he is between a Rick and a hard place regardless.

He's a neighbor and ran into him at Publix. He looked thin and maybe has some health issues going on.
