Unite the Right was a peaceful, lawful protest. They got permits to be there and everything. It was always the counterprotestors (agitators) who were in the wrong. Minding your own business is always a good way to keep yourself out of harms way. But the media started putting up scary images of a few white people with tiki torches and ran with it; that was enough to convince people they were Nazis.
