So the California wildfire was started at a cooking fire by homeless folks . . . .

I know this is a political forum and I get that the point is to post things to support your ideals....however, there are a lot of people out here that will spend Xmas in a shelter. Their kids lost their pets. Their husbands are out fighting these fires. All of California is not a liberal land...there are farms and ranches and salt of the earth people. Put your R and Ds away and have a little compassion for victims of these fires, regardless of the origin (which is yet to be proven).

They irresponsibly started an out-of-control fire if that wasn’t clear. Having it contained to a house might have actually helped. But that might have been what put them on the street in the first place.

I get the compassion end of it. But as a conservative, my focus tends toward the preventative end of things
All those miseries you identified in your post, plus the killing of Kate Steinle should be preventable. If we only had people on the other side of the aisle enforcing behavior, rather than encouraging it
And the LA Times story does confirm this as the cause

Some people choose to be 'houseless' yet have jobs and so forth. Also, many retirees are homeless but travel in RVs or SUVs and just go around to national parks and spend that pension money on travel rather than rent.
Can't just round up homeless people.

While your sentiments are kind, and very few are good people, California is the land of traitors that are giving our nation away to foreigners
This is the land where those that scream white privilege and misogyny and all that other shite daily give away our nation's most furtive and visually beautiful land away to foreign invaders while laughing when American families in the south lost their homes to storms because they didn't want to give up their jobs on the alter of climate change.
Really, just frick them. Really. They can all burn. Those good guys let those idiots take over and allow them to give our future to foreigners. Really, just frick them. Burn.
