I don't believe anyone doubts the attacks. All you have to do is read the response. A couple of pages back I posted part of the response.
But the attacked pumping stations did not take out the pipeline [much to the disappointment of some people here]. Even at the stations, the line is probably buried. It does impact the speed (and ultimately volume) of the line.
The (Saudis) announced they took it offline as a precaution. It is not down permanently. Only time will tell.

Well yea if they can do repairs. But there is no point in doing repairs just to have it hit again. Perhaps when there is peace again.

Yes, but since it was obliterated and has to actually be completely rebuilt the real questions are. When will it be worth building considering how it cant be protected at this time. How important is it to move oil from one side of the country to the other. So far Saudi has shut it down. We will see if they are able to pump even without the obliterated pump stations, and how much they can pump without them.
