You mentioned in a different thread that you'd be for common sense approaches to protecting the environment (that didn't involve the almighty wealth distribution I suppose) but didn't list them. I'm still curious what they are if you care to share?

Well you see what is happening is the climate did change with the passing of the season so technically your not wrong and we are not flooded yet from polar ice caps and my kid won't get flooded either in his 90 years of life so I really don't care

I always appreciated Dennis Miller's take on it. Something like "You know they say the earth has warmed by 2 degrees in the last 300 years. Am I the only one who finds that incredibly stable?"

Historically the ice shelf has remained attached. It's at a high risk of breaking off. This crack expanding is evidence of that. There is no normal rate of giant ice shelfs breaking off.

I believe in it. When I woke up this morning it was 67F. It is now 84F. Tonight, it is predicted to be back to 67F. It is not raining now, but may rain later.
Climate change is realzzzzzzzzzz.

Because people can't disagree on something and still be smart.
I don't deny that the climate has changes and fluctuates, we shouldn't expect it to be stagnant. However, I just question what level man's activity plays on those fluctuations.

There are many smart people that deny climate change or remain skeptical. Many are researchers.
The fact that the media keeps telling me that I must believe climate change and what they say is causing it, that an open and honest discussion cannot be allowed, and the fact that climate change narrative advocates manipulate data all make me skeptical.
Sorry not sorry for being a free thinker with an open mind that simply wants to know facts and is unwilling to accept groupthink on faith.

Why don't people voluntarily get cars with less carbon emissions?
What could be done to coerce people into doing that short of making it a monetary thing? If you have an idea that wouldnt affect peoples money yet get them to be a little less fricktardish about the environment you should speak up NOW

It makes sense to me that humans could be negatively affecting the climate.
My problem, if it was the threat that the left is trying to sell, Obama and the globalists would have made a bigger deal out if it.
If a comet was coming to destroy the earth in 50 years, no one would be talking about anything else. All available resources would be committed to eliminating that threat.
The sahara was once lush green space. That's some epic climate change.

10 years ago you would've started the same thread with a different title

Because a lot of people cannot do their jobs with a fricking Telsa.
When Telsa can pull a boat to go bay fishing let me know

I don't deny it; it's been happening since the dawn of time. I'm just skeptical about Man's involvement in the process.

I don't deny climate change.
I deny the doomsday scenarios politicians and celebrities have been pushing for the past 40 years.

OMG!
It has to be a result of racist Republicans not believing in science. There is absolutely no other possible explanation.

I find it interesting you starting a thread about smarts based upon a false premise. You will not find one person here who denies the climate is changing. What you will find is skepticism about the amount of impact humans have on it and whether or not taxation and regulation can fix it. If you aren't smart enough to realize the difference between that and what your op claims, perhaps you should take a little break.

Lol. That actually puts it into perspective.
