Wrong!
Airborne transmission is transmission via air.

In your mind, when a quarterback throws a pass to a receiver, is that "airborne" transmission?

In other words, airborne transmission within a 60 yard radius? Yes that is airborne transmission.

Note to mmcgrath: Unless feeling masochistic, do not join healthcare threads on the side being pwn3d.

Well, they dont allow medical students to operate on living patients.

What is your extensive OR participation? Have you ever scrubbed into a surgery? Have you ever been ear raped by a surgical nurse for doing it wrong?

I don't know if holding the laparoscope while trying not to fall asleep standing up counts

You havent lived until you've spent an hour holding up the FUPA of a 400 pound pregnant woman during a complicated C-section

Then you know better, and shame on you for your fear mongering and misinformation on this topic.

Believe me, there have been times I've retracted so long I didn't have the arm strength to rip my gown off by the end of the case

It speaks pretty poorly of him if that is genuinely the case, given his commentary on this topic over the past month.

Ignorant propagation of misinformation is one this, but doing so with full knowledge of the science involved and the protocols utilized is a different matter entirely. Thats called "lying".

I don't miss 3rd year. 4th year is so much better.

Give him a break. I'm assuming he is a surgeon. To them, cutting is always the answer.

You have a cold? Tx is surgery.

Stubbed your toe? Cut it off.

Can't poop? Take out the colon.
