Harry Truman, 4 years after signing the legislation authorizing the formation of the CIA, regretted his decision.
We not only took in the NAZI Scientist like Von Braun, under Operation Paperclip, we also took in their Intelligence Officials.
True Story. CIA resembling some kind of an SS or KGB Hybrid is unfortunately for the US, not surprising.
ETA - Operation Paperclip in case anyone has not heard of it.

That's what the DNI was trying to educate the democrats on today in that hearing. They couldn't seem to "get" it.

Surprise, isn't that what Chuck Schumer said would happen about three years ago? Too bad the President didn't get that message.

JFK was right when he planned on “splintering the CIA into a million pieces.” Unfortunately it probably got him killed by the bastards.

I'd be willing to bet it is someone that has close ties with and stays in contact with Brennan.

Kind of ironic that Brennan may bring Trump down. In the meantime Barr and Durham continue to study the matter.

If this is true then we essentially have a rogue department being run by an unaccountable bureaucrat.

Probably right. I imagine most of the top tier of that agency does. I always said that Trump should have went outside to fill the Director position. IMO, it was one of his biggest mistakes to promote Haspel. She is career spook and learned and was molded by the 'Deep State'
I also don't like Barr being appointed to the AG and do not want Wray in the head chair of the FBI. Trump is shooting himself in the foot with these swamp appointments. He has to go outside of the beltway for these positions, imo.

Why don't you cite any laws Trump has broken?

John Brennan did this.

It’s true

Which is against the original mandate of the CIA (operations on American soil). Lending credence to why that mandate was in place and how much the Patriot Act has twisted our intelligence community.
