So if you have a mortgage and the bank called today and forgave it, you would say "no thanks, I insist on continuing to make payments"?

Stings knowing you're dayum hypocrite, taking "FREE" money that's NOT really free. Somebody else (like someone who's already paid off heir loan) will now pay yours.

THAT'S "rich."

Your hypocrisy. Not sure what quicksand I stand on btw, seeing as I haven't seen a dime of forgiveness to this point. You on the other hand simply refuse to answer any questions, because you know how the answers will make you look.

It's hilarious and sad at all the same time.

Is loan forgiveness taxable income?

I believe there’s a provision in the American Rescue Plan that prevents this from being taxable.

Hell, it's costing every tax payer over $2000 regardless of whether you even got the loan, much less paid it back, so what do YOU think?

And you know this about OP how?

buying an 80K vehicle.

Again, how?

I don’t know anything about you or your background, so I’m just gonna go ahead and judge you anyway and make broad assumptions.

You haven’t done shite and have just started a go-fund-me every week begging for money.

Again, I don’t know this for a fact. Just making broad assumptions, since that’s what you do.

Don't have to worry about it because I do not stupidly take predatory loans

I have taught my children right. If you want it, work for it.

Arrogant douchebags like that constantly lie about how great they are. He probably never went to college and is just virtue signaling.

This is my belief as well. The Marxist Regime is Dangling the Carrot again to entice the Gullible to vote for Commies in the Mid Terms.

I'll refresh your memory. Your original premise was this:
quote:

No I am a responsible adult with self accountability and paid off my student loans instead of buying an 80K vehicle.

The fact that you cannot manage your money is not my problem

quote:

When you grow up you’ll understand.

And when you grow up, maybe you'll be honest.

ahh yes... we should throw more of my tax money into the military...

youre worried about tax money going to someone else, but completely okay with the military hiring all these kids?

The military has taken far too much of my tax dollars already, fighting a stupid war for 20 years. The military is where we should be scaling back on the budget sheet.

You all will feel the weight of Ukraine on your taxes far more than the student debt forgiveness
