So I have a question about the Kavanaugh / Ford situation

Ford is obviously a sucessful lady. She has made it in life and has plenty of time left.
Why in the hell would she do this, pretty much knowing that in the end she is gong to come out on the wrong end of it? What possible end game does she have. IF she will not come forward and discuss it, Kav is more than likely going to be voted in and she will be an afterthought.
If she was coerced to do this, why would a seminally smart woman put her life on the line like this?
Makes no sense.

She truly believes she will take Kav down, Ds will take house and senate, Trump will be impeached, SCOTUS will be overwhelmingly controlled by Ds, and we will move into socialism. These people actually think they are just waiting for all of these cards to fall.

Because she treats politics as a religion and apparently she saw a chance to become the next Anita Hill, who was lauded for being a lying piece of shite.
In the field she is in, college professor in a soft science field, the attempt to take out someone like Kavanaugh makes her a celebrity even if she fails because the bubble she lives in is so unbelievably leftist.

Baltimore broker fallacy. The question isn't why would a given women do this. They wouldn't it's irrational...... The question is why would just 1 of the millions of women who exist do it.

This has been planned since Kennedy announced his retirement, and probably longer, RBG leaving is what the are REALLY worried about...
I'd bet everything I have that there are folks lined up and ready with similar stories to create outrage over every judge on Trump's short list, even Amy Barret and the other women

It’s quite possible she thought she could stop it and that’s what dem operatives led her to believe. She also a dem activist so participating in the process is probably a dream come true. And she isn’t in Alabama or anything, she’s in Cali. She will be worshiped there for the rest of her life.

yea, I actually made this connection as well but I still say Kaepernicks fame is going to be short lived. And he is a young guy. He will eventually be 40 years old, no NFL money in his bank and be forgotten about. Im sorry but my life is worth more than a few yeas publicity. Maybe the Nike ad paid him but in my opinion, Kap had to do something. He was not going to be a lifetime NFL player. This lady has a career that would last. Maybe it still will.

Why would someone wear a pussy hat or become completely unhinged over the mere possibility of a possible threat to a political belief they hold, or any of the other crazy shite we’ve all seen leftists do? The now many cases of fake accusations (political/racial attacks) all involved seemingly stable people.
