So I had a communist claim to me that comparing the Trump documents to the Biden documents

Probably true. Trump was president and could declassify anything he wanted and keep anything he wanted.
joe was just a VP with no authority to declassify whatever he wanted and was beholden to security protocols. Not the same at all.

I haven't looked that much into Biden's situation yet, but the explanation I got for why they are different is Biden self-reported it. For what it's worth. Sounds like bs but that is what the other side is saying.

Thinking about the Biden documents scandal, I wonder if the existence and timing of the announcement is a calculated effort by the Dems to sideline Biden for 2024. If there is enough of a media stink about it, that may put pressure on Biden to not seek re-election, which I'm convinced is the preferred outcome for the majority of Dems anyway.

Trump's were actually declassified and were primarily Crossfire Hurricane and the Russia hoax related. The Stasi panicked when John Soloman was going to get to use them.
