I’m sure it’ll cost $250,000-500,000 and it’ll go into pockets of some local “leader”.

A sports league is fine and most parishes already offer rec sports. Just don’t pitch this as any sort of crime prevention.

Program director, activity planner, facility coordinator, flag repairer, football procurement specialist, coach, ref, security, consumables, consumable dispenser specialist, treasurer, oversight, etc…..

My kids play sports. It helps them make more friends and stay active. Same things sports did for me when I was a kid.
