Yikes. You have a citation to back up your claim that giving info is a donation. There has been one case, to my knowledge, in history where giving of information was considered a campaign contribution. The reasoning the court gave was that the person going the info was in the business of collecting and selling that info (polling) and there was an easily ascertainable value for the info (as he usually sold it).
In order for your claim to be correct, a court would have to find for a much much larger interpretation of contribution than has ever been applied before. Additionally, the court must look at facts in a light most favorable to the accused.
So you are saying a court, which must look at facts in a light most favorable to trump, would vastly expand a definition to include something that has never been included before. (And all of this is based upon the allegations of which there is no evidence being completely true).

I thought we were talking about Trumps alleged criminal acts. Are you under the impression that what Cohens ole deal says has ANY effect on Trump’s alleged culpability. That isn’t how it’s works. Good lord. You think basic due process is eliminated if one person pleads out?

Trump's national security adviser, campaign chairman, deputy campaign chair, and personal hatchet man and lawyer are all now convicted criminals and Trump is an unindicted co-conspirator.
The first two Congressmen who endorsed Trump are now both under indictment.
Future indictments are probably coming for his original EPA head, and Secretary of Health and Human Services.
