We'll Trumps bad decisions got him killed so it is political. The same way you guys said Obama got people killed in benghazi
Except President Trump is actively being fed bad intel or having intel withheld from him by Obozo/Clintonista sympathizers.
You really want the answers? Ask the 17 Intelligence Agencies what they failed to inform the CIC of prior to this mission.

New low man, using his sons death for your politics.

Specifically...What decisions by Trump got this guy killed?

That is a statement from a rabid DIMprog.

have no problem with him seeking answers. It's just interesting how NOW the opinions of military families matter
Really, based on the opinions in this thread I'd say it's interesting how NOW they don't matter.

Being a Navy SEAL is a dangerous occupation, especially being a member of ST6. When you join such a unit, you have to be aware that your life could end at any time (even in training as ST6 trains with all live fire and men have been killed in SEAL training). As a parent or spouse of such a person, you have to accept and understand they might not be coming home.
It seems to me that Owens was opposed to Trump as president (which is fine), but he is letting his political bias dictate his grief. What his son did is what Navy SEALS (especially ST6) do all the time -- they hunt terrorists. Obama sent in these guys all the time and many of them died during his presidency. Where was Mr. Owens' outrage then?
Indeed, under Obama we had a large group of ST6 operators die pointlessly in a chopper crash. And Obama was criticized heavily by the family member of the dead SEALS -- some of them even perpetuated conspiracy theories that Obama had them killed as a "favor" to Afghanistan.
It seems that these families let their political leanings dictate their grief. It happened with Obama and it's happening now.

One aspect of the chain of events that nags at him is the fact that the president signed the order suspending the entry of immigrants from seven Muslim-majority countries, including Yemen, on Jan. 27 — the day before the mission.
Owens wonders whether that affected friendly forces in Yemen who were assisting with the raid.
“It just doesn’t make any sense to do something to antagonize an ally when you’re going to conduct a mission in that country,” he said. “Did we alienate some of the people working with them, translators or support people. Maybe they decided to release information to jeopardize the mission.”
That is an interresting question. Did we promise some people entry to our country for their cooperation only to block them?

Wow. What a huge leap. We know for fact that Obama and Hillary didn't want to beef up security in Benghazi and that they let those people die. They also lied and covered it up. That's a pretty big difference than a soldier dying in a mission. All soldiers know the risk. Does not surprise that you CTRs would try to spin this.

1) To make a decision based on a dinner briefing.
2) To make a decision based on a briefing by Flynn.
3) To announce the horribly written EO on the travel ban that could have affected cooperation for the mission the day before.
4) Possibly giving the OK to a mission with a questionable chance of success.

WOW the stupidity level of people is amazing. Idiots like this make me question my belief that our species really did make it to the moon.

Good lord, you're a vagina. What has triggered you this time? It's a pretty widely spread news story today.
Posted on 2/26/17 at 4:28 pm to JuiceTerry
Did no parents ask for answers when their sons died while Obama was president or did the media just not report on it? Because you haven't heard a story like this since W was president.
Posted on 2/26/17 at 4:36 pm to JuiceTerry
I think his calling you a piece of shite has less to do with the actual story than you think perhaps.
Posted on 2/26/17 at 4:40 pm to JuiceTerry
The old innocent "I'm just asking a question."
You don't give a shite about this soldier. You didn't before he died. You don't now.
