So the people who also got free money from Pell Grants (and most everything else in their life free), will also get their loans forgiven?

fricking clown world.

Elaborate. I received some of those

ETA As for OP, that seems arse backwards. Why would someone that already got some "free" money also get double the loan forgiveness? As usual, it seems this administration just says frick logic

The gop is toast in midterms - I hate the dems but they can buy votes like the best of them. Brain dead Biden of all people is kicking arse at the moment

This is racially motivated. What else would you like to know?

Unless the numbers of black, Asian, and white students are equal, your data doesn't necessarily support your claim.

I think this is equal opportunity vote buying in this case.

Sure...I'm not bitter at all for having taken out loans and spent over a decade struggling to pay them back.

So how does the White House do this? Executive order?

I thought Congress was supposed to control the purse strings.

The government has no business handing out grants or loans. This can be easily handled by the private sector.

They're granted to blacks at a substantially higher rate than any other demographic. The numbers are right there.

This is clearly racially motivated. You want to know why we've been seeing all these "blacks are most affected by student loans" articles all over the place?

This is a coordinated effort

If you make $100000 and need the govt to bail you out of loans you are a piece of shite

Ok, blacks are typically poorer than their asian and white counterparts. I would expect they receive aid at a higher rate..

Unless Biden got 300 bil shoved in some corner of his budget somewhere this is nothing more than bluster that will blow up in the face of the democrats.

Pelosi has already stated multiple times he can't forgive debt. She is anti debt forgiveness because the very reasons stated here. Only congress will be able to provide the money and they will never do it.
