I’ve been an attorney for over 14 years now.
I was an AUSA for four years.
I’ve witnessed and been privy to my share of distasteful issues.
I haven’t been this disgusted in a long, long time.
What we are watching is nothing more than an orchestrated political show trial. You could not even get a warrant based upon this allegation. There is zero corroboration. There is no veracity to this claim that happened over 35 years ago. There is nothing for the fbi to do in this situation.
Yet here we are, witnessing this abomination. A person’s life and work has been irreparably marked on such a puerile level because of pure politics. It’s almost enough to make one throw up ones hands and say that’s it, enough, I’m out. Almost.
Our Constitution needs defending and protecting now more than ever.
