The Patrick Smith affidavit that no one knew about just killed her because she doesn't know what he told the congressional investigators or what the Affidavit said.
This was a true kill shot which will be unveiled I suspect during the Kavanaugh questioning. The Democrats objecting to the affidavits also spoke major volumes.
The prosecutor did a great job.

Yes, the point is to ensure that BK has enough votes when they send his nomination to the full Senate by sowing seeds of doubt with all of the inconsistencies that Ford has brought up. Hopefully he performs well later today and this is wrapped up. It would be pointless for Mitchell or Republicans to viciously attack Ford, as much as they want to.
