Since when are top secret "nuclear documents" kept by the National Archives?

Since the “unnamed person close to the investigation” told the Washington Post.

I’m supposed to believe the FBI sat on their asses for 2 years while Trump kept nuclear codes in his Florida home

And if they have a mole on the inside who told them exactly where to find the files they were looking for, why did they have to rummage through Melania's clothes? Was she keeping the nuclear codes in her panties?

They’re not looking for nuclear codes. Dems are trying to reach way back and bring up the time Trump was accused of trying to sell nuclear power plant technology to Saudi Arabia. They’re all out of options since the 1/6 commission is nothing but a joke.

I don’t believe anything they say at this point, in fact, I pretty much believe whatever they say is guaranteed to be a lie.

They didn’t raid the home on behest of the National Archives. There wasn’t a confidential informant. They weren’t looking for documents about nuclear anything.

If something is that classified, why would the National Archive be demanding it, rather than the military? It wouldn’t have taken 30 agents 8 hours to find anything if they had a source telling them it was there. That is too many people who could possibly disseminate that classified material after the fact which would create even a greater security risk. The whole thing is bullshite.

The most likely scenario is they were looking for evidence to bring Trump down on something, anything. Since the media wasn’t invited they were probably going with the idea if they didn’t find something they could make something up. This is the simplest answer and history tells me the simplest answers are usually the correct ones.

The SS agents don’t look over or through their protectees papers to see what they are. They may “rifle” through them on delivery to check for explosives or may test for contact poisons but they do not freaking read them. Even for classification.

Hell, if it’s marked TS they likely avoid reading anything.

I thought Nuke codes were handled by the military and the briefcase is handcuffed to the military member. But maybe that is when the president is traveling?
