UCMJ - Dishonorable discharge and forfeiture of pay and benefits sounds about right.

What happens to a military guy that actively undermines or disobeys his superior officer? I’m asking honestly.

I know it would start with a court Marshall.

Max penalty is death if done during a time of war

90 (10 U.S.C. § 890) – Willfully disobeying a superior commissioned officer

Which wouldn't apply here as we're not currently in an officially declared time of war.

And? He doesn't lose his right and get the death penalty for protesting.

He should face a court martial and be tried under UMCJ. Then he should spend some time in prison and when released kicked out of the service

Yes, if he’s an active duty officer.

It’s ok to have your opinions, keep them to yourself and do your duty. What he did shows no honor and men with no honor shouldn’t be officers in the United States Military.

No man on the battlefield can trust that a man of no honor will cover his six so he can get home to his wife and kids. Thats why he needs to be gone asap.

Regardless of what people think military officers are held to an extremely high standard and have to produce (if not colored) in order to make rank and continue to be in the military. PT every morning. Don’t make rank and you’ll get walking papers. Get a dui or have an affair with another officers wife, bye bye. And if you take this k lightly you’ve never seen their retirement packages for making 20 years.

O4 to O5 so making O5 is all reserve duty is usually ~18 years total service.

So part time.
I don’t know anything about that shite.

Bro, you cannot publicly speak out against the president while on active duty. First amendment does not apply

Yeah, Stalin purged all the Russian officers he thought were insufficiently loyal to him, then when the Nazis invaded, he was fuuuuuuucked. Fortunately Russia has always had winter and an inexhaustible supply of cannon fodder on their side. Just keep feeding them into the meat grinder. I don’t think that will work in the US, but we may see.

You can, you can also face consequences. Certainly doesn't mean you should be killed over it.

You’d think a major would know how to properly wear his cover. Makes him sus to me as being an actual major.

To the rest of the military? This absolute next level boot licking, I have to give you that. I guess we should have shot Washington, too.
