Should LSU pull the liberal arts department with their SJW and Anti-Trump rhetoric?

What does the OT think of cutting research funding to departments in the humanities and social sciences? Most of classes cater right now to social justice themes.(LGBTQ, black lives matter, trans rights are human rights).

Not sure how cutting $13 will hurt.

frick no, man...while I don't agree with the SJW agenda at all, I also don't see underhanded political tactics like you are suggesting as doing anything but strengthening their ideology.

Why lump all the humanities into one target? That’s a lot of programs. What programs do you have a problem with? What, exactly, is happening, in your opinion? Give us some examples.

You might want to sign up for some classes since you're such a snowflake.

Have any of you ever met a liberal arts professor that is a rational middle of the road, free thinking kind of person? I’m curious, because even at LaTech there weren’t any? They have one agenda and a large platform. Unfortunate but it’s true

What Liberal Arts are you talking about? I know there has likely been a more leftist bent in the country since I was at LSU twenty years ago, but yes most of my history and political science teachers at LSU were generally rational and free thinking.

Hell, LSU still hosts the Voegelin Institute

I hate these types of shite posts. He makes the thread with no intention commenting again and takes off.
