These kinds of results increase the probability of growing polarization and violence within communities as victims such as Ngo have no recourse.
I predict should this continue you will grow the ranks of vigilantism throughout the country as normal, law abiding people become discouraged and disillusioned with the ability of law enforcement and their local government to protect them.
And THAT is when Antifa and other progressive shitehead terrorists will experience the true meaning of FAFO.

Why didnt he just sue the people who beat the snot out of him? Trying to prove people doxxing him caused the beating is a strech for 12 people not smart enough to get out of jury duty.

If I track someone down and I'm on video chasing that person into a hotel and threatening to beat the shite out of him with my buddies, I'm not liable?

Apparently not in Portland.

If you threw something at them (and even if you missed) you would be potentially liable. Just the chasing? Not under the elements cited above, no.

The "tracking down" might be a tort in some states, but Ngo did not use that, so probably not in Oregon. In some states, the "chasing" might be a tort, too, but not under the Oregon elements outlined above.

a jury in Portland, Oregon
Stay out of their cities.

Seriously, jurisdiction is the only power antifa has. The local governments let them do whatever they want, and they only destroy their own cities. Just stay away. Let them burn.

After the attorney comments I thought the Antifa people were going down - I guess threats toward a jury actually work.

What?

How the frick can people read this shite and not come away thinking we need to go to fricking war with these people?

As I understand it, Ngo was trying to get an assault verdict against defendants who did not physically assault him. They just doxxed him.

Is this correct?

my understanding is it's going after the people who directed the on the ground boots to where he was.

interesting precedent for Trump's J6 case. i know it's different jurisdictions.

In a shocking and disturbing turn of events, a jury in Portland, Oregon has reached a verdict unbelievably finding Antifa thugs not liable in a civil case filed by independent journalist Andy Ngo.

The only thing shocking is that anyone still believes the courtroom is where to settle things like this

This is why grand jury and jury locations are selected.

This is why I'm in favor of this verdict

The faster the Right figures that out the more interesting things will become

Also, if you're a Right-Winger you'd better carry, no matter what the law says about it and GTFO liberal shitholes and stay out

Going into liberal shitholes is like breaking into the monkey exhibit and crying about getting hit with feces

We missed our moment.

The post war push for the so called meritocracy destroyed us. It was never about merit, but it was a way to use our Anglo ideas about fairness against us. And it gave birth to race and religion quotas, and these people, once they gained power, turned around and that use that power to selfishly promote their people, at the expense of everyone else. And they used that power to hurt us. They probably worried that we would wake up one day, and realize what they had done to us.

Look at what they did, because it’s the same people, what they did to the old industrial areas of the country, the places now ravaged by poverty and meth use. Look at how they’ve destroyed our cities. Look at how they’ve squandered our money, enriching themselves via government fiat, and burning it away in foreign wars that serve no American interest.
