Banning a religion is exactly what the Left wants more than anything. Where would the line be drawn on that? How long before Christianity would be on the chopping block?
There is nothing more ironic than proposing to ban a religion in a country founded on freedom of religion. Besides, it wouldn’t play out like you think it would.

I'm with you on all this. I despise those people, but some of the ideas people on this forum come up with in order to deal with them are just laughable and hypocritical.
They also are ignorant about how closely aligned Shari is with Christianity.
