His path is the economy getting crushed, leading to a Dem win, and then making a run in like 2032.

If that's GOPe... Then turtle and Pierre delecto are Bolsheviks. I'll gladly take Ron's actual assertiveness

I don't think so. He seriously made a major, major error in running against Trump. It's not like when Marco did it back in the day, or the last time when it was Vivek.

If Vance doesn't run, and I couldn't see that happening in a billion years, then maybe. But Trump winning last night eroded even more possibility that Ron would get in that number.

Ron needs a role in this administration. He may not be charismatic, but he damn sure gets it done

Ron is the next Republican Presidential candidate. It’s a great situation. Might even have JD as his VP for continuity.

Assuming JD is alive in '28 he'll be the Republican nominee. 100% lead pipe lock. He's too good on TV. A lot like Trump but Good Trump all the time. No one is touching him in a primary.

I think Vance and DeSantis primary it out next cycle.

Both have great upside

I just think Vance is better at talking to the public.

Nah he’s good where he is thanks. He’s doing more good here than in some secondary cabinet role.

The ONLY job I’d give him up to is AG. He would take swampy souls.

I am sorry but you are an idiot if you really believe that.....Just because he challenged Trump in the primary? I guess we should be like the Democrats and just fall in line and do what the party says? Why doesn't Vivek get the same amount of hate?

DeSantis is the most effective conservative politician not named Trump. What he has accomplished in Florida should be a blueprint for every swing state. He absolutely should be in the forefront of the conversation for 2028. I love JD and Vivek but they basically have no record that compares to DeSantis today. None. Period. Full Stop.

What DeSantis needs to be is a more relatable retail politician and that is his flaw......JD and Vivek are far better at it than he is.

He would have been #1 if he was the VP right now

He really fricked that up. Its unfortunate. Would be great as a Senator

Vance/Desantis ticket will be the option in 2028, calling it now.

And that is probably an even more effective ticket when it comes to conservative governance than we'll get out of Trump's term, and we'll get some gems out of the next 4 years. Those two would kill it though - Vance has the smooth charisman to win voters over and Desantis has the bulldog killer instinct when it comes to getting shite accomplished

He couldn't be Trump's VP pick either way, being as they're both residents of the same state.

I realize you've formed this weird hatred of all things Desantis while trying to fake this other weird "he's my governor" schtick, but Desantis had nothing to lose by running right now since he couldn't be the VP pick regardless.

There is no way this happens. Vance is the heir apparent and hand-picked by Trump to carry the MAGA torch. I like Desantis, but he can't carry Vance's jockstrap when it comes to charisma.

Vance is probably going to run with Tulsi to keep that RFK side of the new base

Trump could have moved to Jersey with ease

Why are only you allowed to criticize Orange and not Ron. Why would i "hate" him?

He potentially lost everything with having a national brand. Vance now has that. At some point you OnlyRons will get it

I would vote for him for President, but he would clean house as AG, too.
