maybe trying to save it for more serious cases which, again, we are using this drug combo poorly

if she died from something respiratory related, she'll probably be classified a covid death if it comes back +

4500 people die every day from diabetes
24,000 people die every day from heart disease.
We don’t force people to not eat too much sugar, eat healthier, exercise regularly. We don’t have non stop media blitzes for these health issues.
But.... we force people to stay indoors, stop working, stop socializing for a virus that will never, ever, ever come close to these numbers.
When 10,000 people start dying a day from this virus, then maybe it might have been worth closing down the economy for it.

My main concern are unknown potential long term effects. There's bunches of instances already of viruses bringing about long term diseases/conditions.
How long did it take to connect HPV and cancers?
Shingles is long term effect of viral infection.
What's this Wu Flu hiding?

How about passing the flu in number of deaths
This just started and we are well on our way to that happening.

I know I asked this before and then never followed up.
How many to you guess will be dead in the US in the next couple months?

I was on the it’s like the flu bandwagon until recently.
Go walk Into an icu and see how full it is. Then go to the icu over flow areas that had to be created to take on extra patients. All full of very sick people. Not sniffles, eating jello, and watching tv.
This was not like this last month or any time that I have seen. That’s what I’m concerned about
Nothing like the flu.

Then why are hospitals suddenly being overrun? When have hospitals across the nation set aside multiple floors to treat one virus? When have cities planned for field hospitals because those multiple floors in multiple large hospitals weren't enough?

There are less than 3,000 "serious cases" of COVID-19 in the US today. Highly concentrated in a few areas. I assume you're in one of those areas?

Seasonal flu has infected about 40 million Americans over 6 months so far. Meanwhile, CV19 infected ~105K over 2 months.
Now maybe you're right. Maybe we will see a ~400-fold expansion of CV19 infections over the next 4 months. But the current pattern doesn't really support that.

Where is this happening outside of NYC, where the governor admitted today they're sitting on thousands of ventilators (in other words, we don't have a shortage of ventilators in NYC)

Do you understand that by that time those measures wouldn't even put a dent in the problem?
