Serious Question for TBoy and other democrats on this board

This is not a flame question but one to try to begin a discussion. Based upon the latest democrat primaries and based upon some of the Democratic Leadership such as AOC, Bernie, Liz Warren attending rallies of DSA candidates, it appears that many "Socialists" like the DSA and Mondami type democrats seem to have taken over the party. At least for now, they are consuming all of the oxygen in the democratic tent and leaders like Schumer and Jefferies have not come out and tried to stop this takeover.
My question is as a democrat, how do you feel about this perceived takeover of your party? We all know where James Carville stands on this, but I was curious to see what you all thought of it. I haven't seen any comments from any regular posters on here that is against this. Are you against it or do you support it?

If you really dig a little deeper, you’ll find the DSA represent a pretty small percentage of the party. The get a lot of attention because they tend to create noise and news. The center will prevail long term.

Not sure if I like it or not, but it's a natural reaction to MAGA.
The traditional GOP couldn't compete with MAGA, and now it's the Dems turn.
Hopefully this is all a trend that both sides get over or at least come to the middle a bit.
