Serious Question about a national divorce

Are we too far gone? Should we have a peaceful national divorce rather than a civil war? We could even be allies internationally. I just don't want to be associated with fellow citizens who don't believe in male/female, protecting the life of babies, and want a marxist society. We are just too different. Leftist and traditional Americans no longer share values. What do yall think? How will it all end? One thing is for sure. If that happened we would need basically the same constitution but just even more clear. We would also need to mandate patriotic and Christian education instead of teaching kids to hate the country. Not a theocracy mandated but even more overtly Christian in my opinion.

Right now the divorce rules are that you have to kill your spouse.
I agree that the Constitution needs a peaceful secession process. The European Union has one and the U.K. used it with Brexit.

The problem is that the divide isn’t regional with north vs south or east vs west. The divide is urban vs rural. Even in blue states where Republicans have no shot at a statewide election, once you get outside the major cities, the rest of the state is usually pretty conservative. We think Oregon and Washington are batshit crazy loons, but the blue parts make up maybe 1/4 of the overall territory. Its just that Portland and Seattle have so much higher population density that the rest of the state doesn’t have enough numbers to out vote the urban crazies. There’s no easy way to just peacefully divorce

Yeah. The logistics are just impossible shy of some kind of mass migration and complete reallocation of resources, tax structure, assets, everything. It would be like Yugoslavia and probably the same violence.

This. There’s zero chance we actually split into multiple countries without serious violence.
Our best hope at the moment is a return to a republic, not a democracy, and the original intention of our system of federalism. Federal power must be drastically reduced and returned to a more local level

Yes three countries, give middle American, the south and San Diego as a western port to the MAGA OG country, the left coast to the bloods, and the north eastern to the crips and MS3, no reason why it can’t go peaceful, they want it, and we want it. The only group that doesn’t is the political elites.

This is the doing of the left. Their persistent shoving ideology down everyone's throat and trying to ruin anyone's life who had a different viewpoint is what led to this.
