The last two capitol officers killed in the line of duty, got a state funeral with a their bodies in the Rotunda. Only 38 times have any coffins been in the rotunda so that's a big honor.
I'd say flags not being at half staff are unusual.

However, your faux outrage for this officer is astounding. I dont recall ANYONE calling for flags at half staff when cops were killed during the ANTIFA/BLM/CHAZ summer of love bullshite. In fact, I remember calls for defunding the police instead, not honoring them.

So DC cops matter more? If it's a cop out in the country leave the flag flying high, but if it's a DC cop half-mast?
