I don't know, what's the standard for honoring an officer? We have dozens that die in the line of duty each year, this should be an easy question for you to answer.

Judge - I don't really understand the shite some of these posters give you.
FWIW - I don’t think you’re a leftist kook or a Marxist. I’ve never seen you advocating any of that. And I also don’t think you voted for Biden. Doesn’t seem like Kamala and the Uniparty are your speed.
What happened at the Capital was disorganized, sheer anger and what happens when people don’t think. It wasn’t productive. It was explainable but wasn’t excusable.
I fully believe the only prevention for this was a lawful forum-all of which were denied. It makes me furious at these lunatics who put their own anger above their country, and their principles. Ironically- They denied themselves the last lawful public forum, which was that stupid, impotent debate. So frick Em. Let them go to jail with their antifa coconspirators they were too stupid to recognize.
I honestly don’t know where the frick we go from here. Biden isn’t the answer. Hive mind is never the answer. Violence isn’t the answer either.
This will be worse before it gets better. The only thing clear to me is if someone beat a cop to death, there should be no mercy. That’s the only thing I know for sure.

No President is gonna fly a flag half staff over a police officer being killed. If you do officers then you need to do firefighters and military. At some point most of the days of the year we'd have a flag at half staff. Especially if Biden wants to go back in the ME again.
