WWI - Russia said 'frick this' and made a separate peace with Germany.
WWII - Russia signed a non-agression pact with Germany before the war which gave Germany the ability to invade Poland without fear of Russia siding with Poland. In fact the non-agression pact gave Russia the right to take a big chunk of Poland territory. Only HItler's anti-communist obsession made Russia switch sides when Operation Barbarossa began in June, 1941.
Post WWII - Russia sided against the U.S. in numerous proxy wars, including Korea and Viet Nam.

I wouldn't blame that on an anti-communist obsession, it was more anti-slavic and simply Lebensraum. I believe it was the land grab itself that was Hitler's obsession. The 'people' on it were just obstacles to be removed.

Yes, as does his contempt for the Untermenchen, and not just Jews, and his desire for large swaths of land for the Germanic people.
I've heard people say things like, "If only Hitler hadn't invaded Russia..." but the whole point for Hitler was to take that land. That's what the Ukraine Nationalists learned only too late. It was racial, not political.

One: After non compliance for decades, Germany finally started spending 2% of GDP on defense to comply with NATO. Guess what cowboy, buying insurance during hurricane season doesnt work, we should not defend them
Two: Giving long range missiles to Ukraine with the express intent of attacking Russia is an act of war. NATO is a defense organization, once again that wont fly.
Three: Someone in DC called the knucklehead this morning and referenced 1&2. Minutes later they decided they will "help ukraine develop a weapsons system".

Japan went to war with us for a specific reason. Germany started two world wars for genocide and land grab. There is a reason there was a wall in between East and West Germany for so long.
