He’ll be eligible for release after half, which sucks even more. I wish I could say I was surprised, but I’m not. I blame Texas’ sentencing laws more than the jury, who I’m not sure even know that he gets out in half.

This won’t be Anthony’s last felony conviction.

If I’m Jeff Metcalf, somebody’s commissary account stays full. If you get my meaning.

Hey, prison’s a dangerous place.

Will be out in 20 at most.

Little piece of shite will be less than 40 years old and walking free.

That’s what we’ve learned here, murder is OK depending on race of both parties.

Justice doesn’t exist in this country.

Amen.

He, while meek and forgiving (a cuck if you ask around) this past year, REALLY unloaded on his victim statement. I was shocked. May his pockets runneth over and drip into whatever prison coffers he feels necessary.

Does anyone ever actually get paid the judgement in a civil suit (between individuals)?

Remember, he's up for parole at that time. That doesn't mean he's getting out then. I would imagine the family of the kid he murdered will have some very good impact statements to keep this PoS behind bars.

Do they still send all the youngsters to the ferguson unit. That place is fight city with everyone trying to prove how tough they are. Probably working in the fields too. Not a way to go through life.

Not sure they could sue his family.

Yes They can. The parents are vicariously liable for harm to others caused by their minor children. Whether or not there is any money that the Anthony family has to satisfy any civil judgment against them is another matter .

The range was 15 to 99 years, so closer to the low end than the high end.
Wonder what it takes to get near the high end.

With the judgement you can file liens on any titled property they own, and garnish wages from any legitimate income source they have.

I mean why not. The lady in BR is suing the Parrents of the teen who spray painted shite on her garage and the community is baking it saying “hold these parents responsible” as they had to be the ones who taught this 13 year old hate as well as bought him klan robes as he is 13 and can’t afford it. I’m all for prosecuting parents in these cases but it has to go both ways. I don’t think it will go the way they think
