I know of 2 people that were to receive their renewal of a green card in recent years. Both said they did not receive the cards and it was determined by the immigration office that the cards were "lost in the mail".
Likely an inside job at immigration or stolen by postal workers.
How much does a hot green card go for, maybe thousands?
